Palbinder Kaur Shergill Becomes Canada’s First Ever Sikh SC Judge

Palbinder Kaur Shergill becomes the first Supreme Court woman judge of British Columbia  Supreme Court in New Westminster. Palbinder Kaur Shergill born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India and at the age of four she immigrated to North America and she grows up in Canada.


Palbinder creates history because she’s the first ever turbaned Sikh woman in the world as a Supreme Court Judge. Palbinder Kaur works as a human rights advocate in Canada and fights for Sikh community rights in Canada for many cases.

She was married into a family from Nawanshahr, She had three beautiful children’s, a lovely husband.
