The new trailer for Toofan Singh tends to highlight the true story of Shaheed Jugraj Singh (Toofan Singh), who stands against the cruelty Indian Government and punish those who implicated enormity on Sikh faith. Ranjit Bawa is going to essay the role of Jugraj Singh, he’s last seen in Priyanka Chopra’s Saravanan and his role in this film look’s strong and convincing.
Since the release of the first look back in last year, the filmmaker’s faces many difficulties for the film certification by the Indian Central Board for Film Certification and the film release date is postponed to next year after the refusal of clearance by the Indian Central Board for Film Certification.
Bhai Jugraj Singh was born in 1971 and when he was 13 years old the Indian army attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib in 1984 and the martyrdom of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and makes him dishearten and he decided to fight against injustice, crime, and brutality carried out against Sikh‘s by the Indian government in 1980’s. The film also stars Shefali Sharma, Yashpal Sharma, Avtar Gill, Deepraj Rana, Sardar Sohi, Raza Murad, Jarnail Singh, and Sunita Dhir. The film was directed by Baghal Singh and written by three writers; Dilbag Singh, Dhiraj Rattan, and Surmeet Maavi. Toofan Singh is set to release on August 4 under the banners on Royal Cine Arts.
